Question by DanielleJane: Anyone who knows alot about Christian Music (rock, indie, emo, hardcore)… HELP!!!!!?
I’m a Christian and I have a very artsy friend (also Christian) who recently made the decision to give up some of the bands she was listening to because they weren’t very uplifting… She wants her music to line up with Phillipians 4:8.
But she has such a different taste in music, so she can’t find any good Christian bands/artists to listen to. Normally I’m good at suggesting music, but her taste in music is so unique that I can’t find any similar Christian bands. Here’s a list of some secular bands she really used to like: * = Favorites

Yeah, unique. The only ones I’ve even heard of are My Chemical Romance, AFI and White Stripes. Right now, the only Christian band she really likes is Underoath… Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions of music she would like? Or anyone know of an updated Christian music list? Thx
I’m not interested in anyone’s opinion about whether secular music is bad or not… please don’t post that here. I just need an answer to my question… Thanks!
You’ve never heard of indie rock? It’s Independent music… you know, not mainstream or what every single other person in the music realm is doing… it’s different.
